Who we are
Meridian Engine ("Meridian", "we", "us") operates the website at meridianengine.co and offers access to the Meridian Discord community (free and paid) and a free Meridian TradingView indicator for server members. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@meridianengine.co.
Information we collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you make a purchase, Whop (our payment processor) collects your name, email address, and payment details. We also receive your Discord username/ID (to grant server access and roles). If you join the free Discord, Discord provides us your username/ID directly.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit this website, standard web technologies record your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. We also use the Meta Pixel (see below). Inside the Discord server itself, your activity is additionally subject to Discord's own privacy policy.
Meta Pixel
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram by tracking actions taken on the site, such as page views and clicks on links like the Discord invite or paid-plan checkout.
The Pixel may collect your IP address, browser information, and pages visited, and may associate this with your Facebook profile if you are logged in to Facebook. This data is processed by Meta under their own privacy policy, available at facebook.com/policy.php.
You can opt out of Meta's use of your data for ad targeting at facebook.com/ads/preferences.
How we use your information
- To grant and manage access to the Discord server and its roles
- To communicate with you about your subscription, including trial and renewal notices
- To measure and improve our advertising
- To comply with legal obligations
Payment processing
All payments for paid Discord plans are handled by Whop. The free indicator involves no payment. We do not store your credit card details. Whop's privacy policy is available at whop.com/privacy.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with:
- Whop, to process your payment and manage your subscription
- Meta, via the Pixel, for advertising measurement as described above
- Discord, to the extent necessary to grant and manage server access (your username/ID only)
Data retention
We retain your email address and Discord username/ID for as long as your membership or subscription is active and for a reasonable period after it ends. You can request deletion by emailing us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email contact@meridianengine.co.
Cookies
This site does not use first-party cookies. The Meta Pixel may set third-party cookies in accordance with Meta's own cookie policy.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Discord's own minimum age requirements also apply to server membership.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
